Threading is an ancient method of hair removal commonly practiced in Eastern countries, such as India and the Middle East, but is becoming very popular here in the West. Threading is performed using a piece of thread with which the entire hair follicle is removed.
Threading is most popular for facial hair removal and the advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin.
